Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients based on physicians orders and medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient health records.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote independence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous nursing experience in home care or clinical environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.
