Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patients vital signs and health status.
- Provide wound care and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient progress.
- Assist with patient education regarding health maintenance and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous experience in home health or related nursing field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the Livonia area.
