The project:

Accountable for planning excellence across projects and tenders, ensuring robust programmes are developed, monitored and delivered with confidence. Supports project management teams to achieve timely, profitable outcomes across medium to high-complexity projects, portfolios or larger project workstreams.

You’ll be responsible for:

- You will ensure robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
- You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

- You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
- You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.

Your responsibilities:

You’ll need to have:

•    Lead planning and scheduling excellence using proven methods, tools and project controls.
•    Apply EVM and controls insight to shape decisions and corrective actions.
•    Engage clients, teams and stakeholders with clarity, influence and confidence.
•    Lead high-performing teams, developing capability and supporting net zero outcomes.
•    Shape and mobilise the right expertise, resources and partners to deliver project success.
•    Lead integrated teams to achieve programme, KPIs and client outcomes.
•    Manage scope, budgets, risk, change and quality with confidence.
•    Manage collaboration, innovation and knowledge across Mace.
•    Excellent written communication skills, clear & concise.
•    In depth knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
•    Stays up to date with current key industry / professional trends.
•    Multi Industry Construction Experience.
•    Delivers service excellence.
•    Problem solving.
•    Strong management skills and talent development.
•    Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the Client and other project stakeholders (internal and external).
•    Significant experience in the use of planning techniques in a range of multi-disciplinary sectors.
•    Ideally Degree educated, preferably in a Construction/ Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
•    Professional membership or equivalent development.
•    Project delivery experience across property, infrastructure or construction.
•    Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder skills.
•    Inclusive leadership with sustainability focus.
