Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift: First Shift - 5:00am-1:30pm, Second Shift -1:30pm-10:00pm.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: San Jose, CA

Saw Operator Job Duties include:
? Manage the production flow at the designated work center, handling multiple departmental processes including material handling and part finishing.
? Perform routine machine operations, conduct quality control checks, and complete periodic maintenance on assigned equipment.
? Read and comprehend all instructions while strictly adhering to company and departmental policies and procedures.
? Maintain a clean and safe workspace by complying with safety regulations and practicing 6S at all times.
? Inspect parts for defects and promptly notify leadership regarding any issues with malfunctioning machinery or defective components.
? Cross-train in other departments and maintain flexibility to work in different areas to help meet unexpectedly high production demands.
? Other duties as assigned
Saw Operator Preferred Skills include:

Saw Operator Requirements may include:
? Prior practical experience operating band saws.
? Previous hands-on experience working with table saws.
? Prior experience functioning as a forklift operator.
? A basic understanding of standard inspection processes and the ability to use job-specific inspection instruments ranging from rudimentary to advanced.
? Foundational knowledge of hand tools and materials used in the process, covering metals, plastics, or purchased items.
? The ability to recognize and understand part drawings, specifically the portions that pertain directly to the immediate job task.
