Labour Relations Coordinator

NOW HIRING: Labour Relations Coordinator Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Labour Relations Coordinator to support labour and workforce management activities on a major energy infrastructure project in British Columbia. This individual will work closely with Construction Management, contractors, union representatives, HR, HSE, Contracts, and Project Controls to proactively manage labour relations issues, workforce availability, contractor compliance, and labour risk across active construction sites. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day labour relations matters, helping maintain workforce stability, productivity, and positive contractor relationships while minimizing project disruptions. This role requires a strong field presence and practical experience working with unionized construction workforces on large industrial, pipeline, LNG, or energy projects. MUST HAVES: - 8-10+ years of experience in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Workforce Relations, Human Resources, or Construction Workforce Management - Experience handling grievances, disputes, workforce concerns, and labour investigations - 5+ years supporting large construction projects - Experience working directly with: Trade unions; Labour organizations; Unionized construction contractors - 2 years working on an industrial Construction project - BC / Western Canada Experience Education: - Degree or Diploma in Labour Relations; Human Resources; Industrial Relations; Business Administration; Construction Management NICE TO HAVES: - Previous Coastal GasLink, TC Energy, LNG Canada, Cedar LNG, Enbridge, Pembina, or major pipeline project experience - Experience supporting camp-based workforces - Knowledge of Indigenous workforce engagement initiatives - Experience administering Project Labour Agreements (PLAs) - Spanish language skills - Experience supporting projects exceeding $100M in construction value Additional Details: This role will require eventual relocation to Prince George, BC to support a major 4 year project in Northern BC relocation support provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
