Location: Hartford, CT Schedule: Full-Time

Job Description

Actalent is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to join a well-respected community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals facing mental health, substance use, and housing-related challenges. In this role, you will provide counseling, crisis intervention, case coordination, and treatment planning services while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality care and support throughout the Hartford community.

Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Conduct assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
- Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services
- Coordinate referrals to community, medical, and behavioral health resources
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Facilitate client advocacy and case coordination services
- Participate in treatment team meetings, trainings, and program activities
- Conduct outreach and educate potential participants about available services

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related Human Services field
- Active Connecticut license in good standing (LMSW, LPC, LPCA, LMFT, or LADC)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with mental health, substance use, homelessness, or related populations
- Experience providing assessments, counseling, and treatment planning
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS services and community resources
- Group facilitation experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
