Project Manager - HR Programs & Organizational Effectiveness

Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in Human Resources and experience partnering with business leaders to drive organizational initiatives. This role will lead organizational strengthening efforts focused on workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership alignment, organizational effectiveness, and change management. The ideal candidate combines hands-on project management expertise with prior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) experience and the ability to leverage HR data and insights to influence business decisions. This individual will partner closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and leadership teams to facilitate stakeholder alignment, translate recommendations into actionable plans, and drive successful execution of strategic workforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and readiness activities for organizational strengthening initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent strategies, and change management efforts.
- Leverage prior HR Business Partner experience to provide insight and context on HR programs, organizational challenges, and workforce initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, alignment sessions, and strategic discussions, ensuring recommendations are translated into practical execution plans.
- Track project deliverables, action items, risks, dependencies, and escalation items to ensure timely execution and successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning & Development, and business leaders to align priorities and drive sustainable organizational improvements.
- Use HR data, workforce metrics, and analytics to identify trends, support decision-making, influence stakeholders, and measure program effectiveness.
- Develop dashboards, reports, executive updates, and communication materials that provide clear insights into workforce and organizational initiatives.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and operational readiness activities that strengthen organizational capability and performance.
- Identify operational gaps, improvement opportunities, and resource requirements to support business objectives and organizational effectiveness.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches to enhance project planning, reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

Human Resources Business Partner Experience

- Experience serving as an HR Business Partner or HR advisor supporting business leaders and client groups.
- Experience partnering with leaders on workforce planning, talent initiatives, organizational effectiveness, employee development, and change management programs.
- Ability to leverage HR expertise to influence business decisions and drive organizational outcomes.

Project Management

- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and programs from planning through execution.
- Experience managing project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and implementation plans.
- Strong ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable workstreams and measurable outcomes.

HR Data Analytics

- Experience analyzing and utilizing workforce data, HR metrics, and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
- Ability to perform analysis and leverage data-driven insights to influence leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience developing or utilizing dashboards, KPIs, reporting tools, and workforce analytics.

Organizational Effectiveness & Change Leadership

- Experience supporting organizational development, workforce planning, leadership alignment, and change management initiatives.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive alignment across diverse groups.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting large enterprise HR programs and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Operations teams.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and reporting tools such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Power BI, Tableau, CultureAmp, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management strategies.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve analytics, reporting, project execution, and operational efficiency.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
