Job Summary

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)

The Kitting Lead oversees the complete kitting process, ensuring materials are accurately prepared and delivered to production on time.

- Manage the kitting process from start to finish, including planning, material allocation, and delivery to production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production and quality, to ensure accurate and timely kitting.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and implement process changes to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
- Develop and maintain accurate kitting documentation.
- Train and support junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and knowledge.
- Analyze data to track kitting performance and provide insights for strategic planning.

Production employees may work across multiple areas of the operation, including machine operation, material preparation, finishing, packaging, quality inspection, and general production support.

Requirements

The Kitting Lead oversees the complete kitting process, ensuring materials are accurately prepared and delivered to production on time.

Critical Skills & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Physical Demands:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
