Job Summary

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)

The Kitting Supervisor will assist the Kitting Manager in all aspects of kitting and hand assembly.

- Supervise and coordinate daily kitting activities to ensure timely and accurate assembly of kits.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of assemblers to achieve production goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of materials.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect completed kits for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Develop and maintain kitting schedules in alignment with production timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitting efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

Critical Skills & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitting processes and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using software tools for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
