Job Summary
Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)
The Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains production machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Critical Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards in a production setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
