Overall Mission:

- Ensure effective execution of road transportation operations across assigned APAC manufacturing sites.
- Serve as the primary regional coordination and escalation point for transportation execution activities, ensuring service continuity and operational excellence.
- Support the Road Hub Manager in driving transportation performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

- Act as the main point of contact for road transportation execution and shipment management for assigned APAC sites.
- Coordinate transportation operations and resolve critical transportation exceptions, service disruptions, and urgent shipment requests.
- Manage inbound and outbound delivery execution through SAP and Track & Trace systems, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
- Own the maintenance of inbound transportation lead times for APAC sites, working closely with Regional Transport Managers (RTMs) and 4PL partners to ensure accurate planning parameters and alignment with transportation network requirements.
- Monitor transportation data quality, shipment visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing transportation performance, identifying process improvement opportunities, and implementing sustainable solutions to enhance service, efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop shipment volume forecasts and coordinate capacity planning with logistics service providers.
- Coordinate transportation master data maintenance with local transport managers and data management teams.
- Review transportation performance, support carrier performance reviews, and drive service improvements with logistics service providers.
- Review and validate freight invoices, including assessment of carrier surcharge and additional cost requests.
- Ensure compliance with Givaudan transportation processes, policies, and governance requirements.
- Coordinate logistics complaints, transportation returns, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
- Proactively manage transportation risks associated with seasonal demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, weather disruptions, and other operational challenges.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, manufacturing sites, carriers, and logistics partners to support business objectives.

Your Professional Profile Includes:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations within a regional or multinational environment.
- Business proficiency in English and relevant local language(s)
- Strong SAP and transportation management systems knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
