Regulatory Specialist - Your future role?

As a Regulatory Specialist in Johannesburg, you will provide regulatory support to internal and external customers to ensure that all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, according to legal requirements and corporate guidelines.

You will report to the Regulatory Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

- Provide internal customers with and compliant formula reviews and documentation in an expeditious timeframe to meet global commercial, creation and research projects
- Provide sales support in commercializing assigned products
- Identify issues relevant to commercial opportunities
- Manage request logs
- Work with commercial teams as guided to provide regulatory support
- Assist regulatory managers as assigned
- Produce customer documents
- Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities
- Develop relationship with assigned customer contacts
- Knowledge of assigned customer requirements
- Develop and implement routine processes

You have:

- University Degree (minimum Bachelor) in scientific discipline i.e. chemistry, food, biological or physical sciences
- 1+ years of experience in regulatory
- 3+ years of experience in the food industry
- Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products
- Knowledge in food, chemistry or related disciplines
- Working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements
- Experience with components of business processes and internal systems
- Basic knowledge of regulatory systems
