Job Overview
PrideStaff has partnered with a local manufacturing company seeking a skilled and versatile Electro-Mechanical Technician to join a dynamic industrial team. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, welding, and routine preventative maintenance on complex industrial machinery and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Repairs: Perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly, modifications, and repairs for both new and existing machinery.
Fabrication & Welding: Execute steel welding, cutting, and basic fabrication tasks.
Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, including greasing bearings, shafts, machine parts, and compressed air systems.
Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational safety and performance.
Cross-Functional Duties: Support operational needs across departments and travel between regional site locations as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
Education: Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial-System Technology, or a related field preferred.
Industrial Mechanics: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanics.
Welding Experience: 3–5 years of experience in steel welding and cutting.
Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical automation, as well as basic schematic reading.
Language & Tech: Fluent in English (Spanish bilingual is a plus); basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred / Plus Factors:
3–5 years of experience with PLC programming.
Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming.
Familiarity with material handling and blending practices and equipment.
Soft Skills & Travel:
High degree of diplomacy, strong teamwork skills, and a self-starter mindset.
Willingness and ability to travel between multiple facility locations.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Safety Commitment: Strict compliance with all plant safety rules and proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Environment: Indoor plant and outdoor field environments with exposure to varying weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, dust, and noise).
Work Schedule: Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed (early mornings, late nights, weekends, or holidays).
Physical Requirements: Heavy physical labor including frequent climbing, opening railcar lids, collecting samples, and lifting (up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently, 10 lbs. constantly).
Communication & Health: Ability to communicate clearly via phone/radio, hear alarms around heavy machinery, and pass a physical exam if required.
