Position Overview
PrideStaff has an exciting Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a premier manufacturing team in Sacramento! This position involves hands-on material handling, shipping and receiving, and precision work with specialized metals and ceramics.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable candidate looking for a long-term position with career growth—once hired on permanently, this role will also include local delivery driving one day per week!
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving: Handle daily inbound and outbound shipments, inspect deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Local Delivery: Serve as a local delivery driver one day per week upon permanent hire.
Material Handling: Work safely with various metals, ceramics, and chemical solvents.
Process Adherence: Follow technical instructions and specialized processes without deviation to ensure high quality standards.
Safety & PPE: Strictly follow all workplace safety procedures and proper usage of required protective gear.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Recent work history in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Reliability: Exceptional attendance and punctuality are mandatory, especially during the initial training period.
Mindset: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn technical manufacturing skills.
Background Checks: Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Safety & Dress Code Requirements
Footwear: Steel-toed boots are required.
Attire: Long pants required at all times (no shorts allowed).
PPE: Must wear nitrile gloves and required safety equipment during production/handling tasks.
