About this role

At IAG, we’re ready for you. We're the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. Our family of brands turns the IAG purpose of making your world a safer place into action by helping everyday Aussies and New Zealanders, supporting their ambitions and making insurance accessible.

Bring your experience, initiative and relationship-building skills to a role where you'll become a trusted partner to senior leaders and a valued part of a high-performing team. As an Executive Support Specialist, you'll work closely with two Executive Managers within Intermediated Insurance Australia, supporting leaders across Pricing, Reserving and Capital Management teams while helping them stay focused on strategic priorities and ensuring the day-to-day runs seamlessly. You'll anticipate needs, create capacity, build strong connections across the business and help bring teams together. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll enjoy the balance of flexibility while maintaining the in-person connections that help teams collaborate, solve problems and do their best work.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

What You'll Do

• Provide proactive executive support, managing priorities, schedules, communications and key business activities for senior leaders.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, workshops and team events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to delivery.
• Build trusted relationships across the Pricing, Reserving and Capital Management teams and the broader business, acting as a key connection point for leaders, teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations, meeting packs and supporting materials that support effective communication and informed decision-making.
• Support team operations, including onboarding activities, equipment coordination and team engagement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working that enhance team effectiveness and productivity.

What You'll Bring

• Experience supporting senior leaders in an Executive Assistant, Executive Support or similar business support role.
• Confidence managing competing priorities and staying organised in a busy environment where no two days are quite the same.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
• A proactive approach and the ability to anticipate needs before they become requests.
• Sound judgement and professionalism when working with sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and OneNote.

What We Offer

• Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard.
• 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what’s important to you).
• Work from home and many more flexibility options with myFlex.
• Up to 50% off personal insurance, including home and motor insurance.
• Partner discounts on private health insurance, tech & appliances, and many more.
