Tisun Beauty is an established beauty supply retailer with 30 years in business and four store locations. We help customers express their personal style through hair, beauty products, cosmetics, and accessories.
The opportunity
Keep merchandise records accurate and products organized as they enter our stores. This receiving role suits someone who works carefully, notices discrepancies, and is comfortable with quantities and pricing. Your receiving records help stores know what is available to sell. You will take a methodical approach to deliveries, resolve discrepancies through the appropriate supervisor, and preserve a clear record of what arrived and where it was stored.
What you will do
- Match deliveries to purchase orders and invoices; verify counts, SKUs, and prices.
- Inspect shipments and document shortages, damage, and incorrect products.
- Enter receiving information accurately and maintain supporting records.
- Label and store merchandise in designated areas; support replenishment and transfers.
- Assist with cycle counts and keep work areas and aisles orderly and safe.
- Keep shipments awaiting verification separate from merchandise cleared for stocking.
- Follow approved steps for correcting receiving errors and documenting unresolved discrepancies.
- Maintain clear product locations so store teams can find and replenish merchandise efficiently.
- Communicate delivery status and outstanding receiving issues to purchasing or store leadership.
What you bring
- Basic computer skills and accurate counting and recordkeeping.
- Ability to identify differences between merchandise, invoices, and orders.
- Receiving, warehouse, inventory, or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to compare detailed documents and enter information accurately without skipping verification steps.
- Ability to prioritize deliveries and inventory tasks while following safe handling procedures.
Schedule and work environment
Work includes moving boxes, organizing stock, and using approved handling equipment, with reasonable accommodation. Specific lifting requirements and schedule will be provided for the assigned location.
