About the Opportunity:

Join our client, a leader in the aviation industry, as a Production Manager in Melbourne, FL. This is a dynamic role where you'll oversee the seamless flow of high-end aircraft painting operations, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the site Operations Manager, you'll manage three shifts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end painting operations for VIP and business jet aircraft, ensuring ultra-high-quality finishes.

- Coordinate production schedules to meet stringent delivery timelines without sacrificing quality or compliance.

- Supervise a team of skilled painters, prep technicians, and detailers, fostering a culture of excellence.

- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and client-specific requirements in all processes.

- Collaborate with various teams to deliver custom livery designs and flawless execution.

- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, including paint thickness testing and surface smoothness evaluation.

- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, and turnaround time while maintaining luxury standards.

- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections for traceability.

- Uphold professionalism and discretion with VIP clients, aircraft, and proprietary designs.

- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and compliant with environmental and safety regulations.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in aircraft painting, focusing on business/corporate or VIP jets.

- 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role within the aerospace sector.

- In-depth knowledge of high-end aircraft coating systems, custom paint schemes, and high-gloss finishing techniques.

- Strong understanding of aviation industry regulations and luxury aircraft presentation best practices.

- Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and experience interacting directly with clients or their representatives.

- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Bachelors degree in Aviation, Engineering, or Business preferred.
