The C-130J RAAF Deputy Program Manager (DPM) reports directly to the C-130J International Sr Program Manager and is responsible for program performance and day-to-day execution of assigned projects. The DPM is responsible for program execution including development, production, modification, integration and test, and delivery of training devices. The DPM works collaboratively with all functional organizations to ensure program success focusing on cost, schedule, technical, and Risk and Opportunity management to meet program objectives. The DPM serves as the primary program leader for all activities, leading internal program reviews to report cost, schedule, and technical performance. The DPM understands how to complete staff work, leverage digital transformation, and effectively use metrics to make data driven decisions. DPM establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains effective solutions to meet program requirements. The selected individual will represent the RAAF program with the FMS customer (AFLCMC/WNSK) and RAAF user community for their respective projects including Program Management Reviews, conducting Customer Bi-weekly Reviews, and developing strategic initiatives to grow RAAF and FMS business. The DPM represents the International Sr Program Manager as the primary interface with USAF and RAAF stakeholders and training system acquisition customer for all RAAF training matters.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated strong business acumen

Program Management experience - program size of $50M/annual sales between $25M-$50M

Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver on commitments

Experience managing cross-functional and decentralized teams.
Relevant CAM experience, Risk Manager, EVMS experience and Risk Based Assessments
Experience in training device development/trainer modification programs

Ability to travel domestically and internationally - as needed.

Must be eligible to obtain a secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

PM Level 1 or Higher Certified

Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Experience
2-years International Program Management or Subcontract Management Experience

Program size >$50M contract value and $50M in annual sales
Experience in managing red programs; Return-To-Green experience.

Experience growing programs through introduction of new product/services - shaping requirements.

Experience in interfacing FMS and international customers

Experience with DCS and FMS proposals - Firm Fixed Price Contracts

Knowledge of C-130J Aircraft, C-130J training systems and simulator product line architectures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of LM Program Management and performance excellence policies and procedures.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
