You will lead the commercial function for the Germany market, translating regional and corporate strategy into clear local priorities across portfolio, pricing, positioning and go-to-market. You will lead and develop the commercial team, own the market commercial plan and co-own the ISG P&L across Server, Storage, Solutions, Software and Services.

As a key commercial leader for Germany, you will translate market opportunity and portfolio strategy into profitable growth through pricing, go-to-market execution, P&L leadership and a high-performing team. Success means growing revenue and profit, gaining market share, maintaining a healthy portfolio and demand plan, and delivering consistent commercial execution.

What You'll Do

Lead the Market and Team

- Lead the Germany market commercial function and own the integrated commercial plan across ISG categories, customer segments and routes to market.
- Co-own the ISG P&L, driving revenue, volume growth and profitability across Server, Storage, Solutions, Software and Services.
- Lead, coach and develop the commercial team, building capability, succession and a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Represent Germany in regional and executive reviews, providing clear recommendations, risks and decisions required.

Shape Portfolio, Pricing and Go-to-Market

- Define and execute the Germany market portfolio strategy, using customer needs, market trends, competitive activity and product lifecycles to drive portfolio decisions.
- Lead portfolio lifecycle planning, including launches, growth, maturity, end-of-life, Topchoice and strategic configuration priorities.
- Own market pricing across standard business, bids and campaigns, balancing competitiveness, customer value, market share and sustainable profitability.
- Set go-to-market priorities across Enterprise, Public Sector, SMB, Channel, Retail and e-Commerce, including campaign strategy and execution.

Drive Planning and Execution

- Own market intelligence and IDC opportunity analysis, identifying and prioritising growth opportunities and translating insights into commercial actions.
- Lead forecasting and demand planning, maintaining visibility of availability, inventory health, lifecycle exposure and competitive positioning.
- Drive disciplined business management, performance tracking and execution across key commercial priorities.

Work Across the Business

- Partner closely with Sales, Channel, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Services and regional Category teams to align priorities and drive execution.
- Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, partners, retailers and ecosystem partners, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.

- Commercial performance: Profitable revenue and volume growth, strong P&L performance and improved market position.
- Opportunity capture: Effective portfolio, pricing and go-to-market decisions that identify and convert market opportunities.
- Planning and execution: High-quality forecasting, disciplined commercial planning and consistent execution of agreed priorities.
- Operational health: Healthy portfolio and inventory, strong availability and improved forecast quality.
- Leadership: Strong team performance, capability development, succession readiness and effective cross-functional execution.

What You'll Bring

- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial, sales or business leadership roles, ideally within server, infrastructure, hardware or related technology.
- Infrastructure solutions or technology industry experience.
- Proven experience leading a market, business unit or comparable commercial organisation, with accountability for business results, revenue, profitability and P&L performance .
- Strong commercial strategy experience, with the ability to translate corporate and regional strategy into market priorities, commercial plans and measurable outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including revenue/volume management, gross margin, pricing, funding, portfolio economics, forecasting and channel dynamics.
- Strong experience in portfolio, category, pricing or GTM leadership, balancing customer needs, competitive positioning, market share and profitability.
- Strong market intelligence and opportunity-analysis capability, using external market data such as IDC or Context to identify opportunities and shape commercial decisions.
- Proven people leadership, including setting direction, building high-performing teams, coaching senior talent, managing performance and developing succession pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at senior executive level , communicate complex commercial topics clearly, challenge constructively and drive decisions across a matrix organisation.
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Channel, Supply Chain, Operations, Services, Product and Category.
- Strong customer and market orientation, with senior relationships across customers, distributors, partners, retailers or ecosystem stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills , with the ability to operate in a complex, fast-moving environment, manage ambiguity and make timely, fact-based decisions.
