EHS Professional

- Coordinate and continuously improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, promote a safe working environment, and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and regulatory authorities to implement effective EHS processes and initiatives.
- Coordinate EHS activities and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, internal policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain EHS documentation, legal registers, safety agreements, and reporting in internal systems.
- Liaise with external EHS service providers and regulatory authorities.
- Support EHS audits, management reviews, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate risk assessments, individual risk documentation, emergency plans, and mandatory medical examinations.
- Organize, deliver, and track mandatory EHS and H&S training, including additional training following incidents or regulatory changes.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Oversee the procurement, distribution, and inventory of work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Ensure environmental compliance and reporting, including waste and packaging management.
- Support workplace safety, employee wellbeing initiatives, and the maintenance of safe site conditions.
- Coordinate CSSM committee activities, meetings, and related documentation.

Work Experience

- Strong knowledge of Romanian EHS legislation (SSM, SU, AFM, waste, EEE, packaging, batteries).
- Experience working with external EHS providers and authorities (ITM, AFM, environmental agencies).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with EHS platforms (e.g., Cority) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Very good English skills (spoken and written) — essential for communication with global teams.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, online platforms, reporting tools, documentation systems).
