KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position listed below in support of a major Offshore Project. The role will be based at either the Client's Office or the Contractor's Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Purpose

The Interface Manager will be responsible for identifying, coordinating, managing, and resolving all internal and external interfaces across the project. The role acts as a key focal point between the Client, PMC, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, licensors, operations teams, and other stakeholders, helping prevent scope gaps, interface conflicts, and schedule impacts.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan (IMP) .

·       Establish and maintain the Interface Register , identifying interface points, responsibilities, status, and required actions.

·       Identify, manage, monitor, and close internal and external interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.

·       Act as the focal point for interface matters involving ADNOC Offshore, PMC, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, licensors, operations/asset teams, and relevant external stakeholders.

·       Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces covering Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Civil and Structural disciplines.

·       Ensure that interface requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, and boundaries are clearly defined and communicated.

·       Review and monitor drawings, specifications, engineering deliverables, and data exchanges that affect project interfaces.

·       Facilitate interface coordination meetings and workshops and ensure timely closure of actions and escalation of critical issues.

·       Coordinate interfaces during engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up phases.

·       Support management of technical queries, design clarifications, constructability issues, site clashes, and contractor interface conflicts.

·       Coordinate brownfield/offshore tie-in and SIMOPS-related interfaces where applicable.

·       Integrate interface requirements and milestones with the overall project schedule and highlight potential bottlenecks or delays.

·       Identify interface-related project risks and facilitate development and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures.

·       Assess the interface impact of engineering/design and scope changes and maintain traceability of changes and approvals.

·       Coordinate procurement and vendor interfaces to ensure technical information and deliverables are exchanged in accordance with project requirements.

·       Maintain interface documentation, correspondence, action logs, registers, and status reports.

·       Monitor interface performance and report critical issues, delays, risks, and outstanding actions to project management.

·       Ensure interface activities comply with applicable project HSE and QA/QC requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university.

·       Significant experience in Oil & Gas EPC/PMC projects, preferably involving offshore facilities .

·       Strong experience in interface management and multidisciplinary engineering coordination .

·       Good understanding of the EPC lifecycle covering FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.

·       Previous experience working on ADNOC/ADNOC Offshore projects would be highly advantageous.

·       Experience coordinating multiple EPC contractors, vendors and third-party stakeholders.

·       Experience with offshore brownfield modifications, tie-ins and SIMOPS would be advantageous.

·       Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documentation.

·       Familiarity with interface management systems, registers and project controls.

·       Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and leadership skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple complex interfaces and drive issues through to resolution.
