### Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Purchase to lead and manage the procurement function for our Pune location.
### Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships and supplier networks.
- Handle procurement of construction materials, services, and project requirements.
- Evaluate vendors, negotiate rates, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, QS, Billing, and Accounts teams for timely material procurement.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Monitor purchase costs, budgets, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and processes.
- Lead and mentor the purchase team.
Candidate Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Experience in a contracting/construction firm is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good commercial understanding and decision-making ability.
- Experience in handling procurement for multiple projects will be preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
