Hiring for a Business Development Associate in Wallingford!

What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for customer inquiries and daily account support
- Manage and respond to Requests for Quotes (RFQs) with accuracy and urgency
- Learn and utilize company ERP systems to manage customer activity and inventory data
- Support and grow customer accounts through exceptional service and relationship building
- Analyze customer purchasing trends and assist with demand forecasting
- Develop long-term partnerships with customers and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to expand existing business and generate new revenue streams
- Partner closely with sales, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams
- Participate in customer meetings and contribute to strategic account planning
- Gain exposure to the aerospace supply chain and industry-leading business practices
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, or customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for customer success
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to quickly learn ERP and business management systems
- Professional, dependable, and highly organized
- Confidence interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Experience in sales, customer service, business development, or account management environments
- Familiarity with CRM and/or ERP systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment

Work Environment
- 100% onsite office environment
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Collaborative and professional team atmosphere
- Approximately 10-20% travel for customer meetings and business development activities

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
