We’re looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our supportive Workers Compensation team. You’ll help customers and brokers, process policy updates and renewals, respond to enquiries and provide administration support. You don’t need previous insurance experience. We’ll provide training and support to help you build your knowledge and grow your career with us.
This is a permanent full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You'll Do
• Process policy updates, new business and renewals.
• Assist customers and brokers with their enquiries.
• Manage credit queries and follow up outstanding premiums.
• Prepare reports and provide administration support.
• Work closely with your team to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
What You'll Bring
• Previous customer service or people-focused experience, with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence using a range of systems and technology, with the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
