Construction Operator with Class 4 or 5

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Operator with Class 4 or 5 Drivers Licence to join our Construction crew in Hamilton. You’ll operate trucks and plant, support site works and help deliver good work across our projects. Mō te tūranga | About the role

Based out of our Hamilton branch, this is a hands-on role for an experienced Construction Operator with Class 4 or 5 NZ Drivers Licence . You’ll work across a mix of civil construction tasks, from driving and operating plant to helping with site preparation and day-to-day delivery. It’s a role where safety, reliability and a solid work ethic really matter.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

- Operate a Class 4 truck, including reversing and spreading aggregates.
- Transport plant and equipment using a Class 5 truck and trailer.
- Operate plant including a 10,000L watercart, rollers and loaders.
- Support site preparation and general construction activities across the crew.
- Work safely, follow site requirements, and help deliver quality outcomes on time.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

- A Class 4 or 5 New Zealand driver licence and WTR endorsement.
- At least 3 years’ experience in civil construction or a similar role.
- A proactive, accountable approach and pride in doing the job well.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
