This hands-on, outdoor role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in delivering quality results, and values being part of a close-knit team. As a Minor Works/Spraying Operator, you will be involved in maintaining the network, weed spraying, supporting cyclic maintenance programmes, and responding to operational needs across the contract. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Cyclic road maintenance and general network upkeep safely and to a high standard.
- Conduct vegetation control activities, including weed spraying across the network, in accordance with approved procedures, environmental requirements and safety standards.
- Support routine and reactive maintenance activities across the contract area.
- Work across a range of field tasks as part of a crew delivering practical outcomes for the community.
- Use tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly and complete basic checks where required.
- Follow Fulton Hogan systems, site procedures, and safety expectations at all times.

- Experience operating machinery and Class 2 and WTR endorsements would be an advantage; however, we are prepared to train the right person.
- Current Growsafe qualification and spraying experience is preferred.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team.
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality work.
- The ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
