Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay: $34.67/hour — higher rates available depending on experience
Job Overview
Seeking a versatile Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and welding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose hydraulic systems, including valves and pressure controls .
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLCs, fuses, motors, megameters, light curtains, and area scanners .
- Maintain pneumatic systems, air cylinders, and fluid controls .
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including lubrication, alignment, adjustments, and cleaning.
- Complete equipment repairs and fabrication using MIG and stick welding .
- Install and set up new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic presses, conveyor systems, rollers, chains, sprockets, and billet furnaces .
- Support equipment reliability and shutdown maintenance activities.
- Safely operate mobile equipment when required.
- Document completed maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with maintenance projects, equipment improvements, and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial maintenance experience required.
- Multicraft maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems .
- Experience with MIG and stick welding for equipment repair/fabrication.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and electrical components.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
Preferred: Completed 3–4 year apprenticeship/Journeyman Card or an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
