Pressure Washing Technician

Who Were Hiring:

RVA Property Managers is seeking an experienced Pressure Washing Technician with several years of hands-on pressure washing experience who can assess a job, select the right cleaning method, and complete quality work with limited supervision. Experience in exterior cleaning, property maintenance, or related trades is a plus.

What Youll Do:

- Perform residential and commercial pressure washing and soft washing on appropriate surfaces, including siding, concrete, decks, fences, and other exterior areas.

- Assess surfaces and conditions; choose suitable pressure, nozzles, cleaning products, and techniques to protect property and landscaping.

- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain washers, hoses, pumps, surface cleaners, and related equipment.

- Prepare work areas, protect nearby fixtures, manage runoff appropriately, and follow chemical handling and jobsite safety practices.

- Document completed work and any damage or repair needs; communicate findings and additional service opportunities to the appropriate team.

- Deliver professional customer service, keep the work vehicle and equipment organized, and complete jobs on schedule.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring:

- At least 3 years of professional pressure washing or exterior cleaning experience; able to work independently on varied properties.

- Working knowledge of pressure washing and soft washing methods, surface compatibility, and safe use of cleaning products.

- Experience inspecting equipment and diagnosing common operating issues.

- Sound judgment when working around windows, electrical components, landscaping, and finished surfaces.

- Strong customer communication and accurate job documentation.

- Experience with gutter cleaning, window cleaning, property maintenance, or related trades preferred.

- Driving Requirements

Must have a valid Virginia drivers license.

- Must have positive points on state driving record.

- Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.

- Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.

- All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.

- Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Must be able to stand, walk, and handle hoses and equipment for extended periods.
