What this job involves:
As a Transformation Portfolio Services Director within JLL's BE&T (Business Excellence & Transformation) Group, you'll drive best-in-class operational efficiencies across all JLL Services. Based in Bangalore, you'll play a senior role within the AOE program, owning portfolio-level business case management and transformation delivery.
In this critical role, you will:
- Plan, monitor, and manage business cases across the AOE transformation portfolio
- Lead and support project activities, plans, and schedules tied to deliverables and milestones
- Own investment management processes and portfolio financials with precision
- Drive the delivery of tangible benefits from transformational programs, end to end
- Navigate complex, cross-functional stakeholder landscapes in a fast-paced environment
- Apply meticulous attention to detail across reporting, tracking, and documentation
- Work independently, instruct project teams, and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues
Your expertise in project management, financial acumen, and change delivery will be instrumental in maintaining the pace and discipline of JLL's transformation agenda. This position offers an opportunity to leverage advanced analytical capabilities and commercial judgment in a dynamic, global setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Case & Investment Management: Build, manage, and maintain the investment management process for assigned AOE business cases, ensuring rigorous financial tracking and governance.
Project & Program Delivery: Lead or support project activities, plans, and schedules associated with deliverables and milestones, including identification of people resource requirements, training, and skills development needs.
Financial Reporting: Own reporting of business case financials and metrics; master internal Excel-based tools to adhere to standard tracking and reporting requirements.
Benefit Realization: Support the delivery of benefits from transformational programs or projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
Process Improvement: Utilize project management disciplines and, where necessary, provide input to improve processes and documentation within project management systems.
Problem Solving: Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures and best practices, applying knowledge of business objectives to improve project outcomes; solve complex problems by taking a fresh perspective on existing solutions.
Transformation Opportunity Identification: Work with relevant business areas to identify additional areas of transformation opportunity within the same project or business area.
Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks of resistance and benefit realization, evaluate and ensure readiness for change, and develop plans to address identified risks.
Capability Building: Support the build-out of project management and change management capabilities across JLL to enable more streamlined and effective practices organization-wide.
Communication & Knowledge Management: Support and manage necessary communication activities related to projects and change; support knowledge management efforts with clients and within the team.

- Demonstrable, highly commercial mindset with strong financial acumen

- Ability to lead multiple teams/workstreams simultaneously
- Expert understanding of MS suite of solutions and AI tools
- Advanced proficiency in at least one project planning tool (e.g., Smart Sheets, Monday.com, MS Project)
- Ability to simplify complex investment/spend management scenarios for executive-level audiences
- Strong attention to detail and remarkable follow-through
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage simultaneous projects on tight timelines
- Insatiable appetite for lifelong learning and professional development
We seek a candidate who blends project and change management expertise with strong financial and commercial acumen, capable of navigating complex transformation programs while working effectively across global teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in project management
- Advanced English communication skills
- Proven experience in complex global project or change management roles, with direct experience from concept to delivery
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expert understanding of Excel and advanced understanding of at least one project planning tool
- Experience gathering timely and accurate financial data
- Experience delivering a business case and/or end-to-end financial project delivery
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders and internal clients to understand requirements, provide project updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and make connections across topics, ideas, and teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercially and financially astute, comfortable with company P&L and, ideally, balance sheet concepts
- Understanding of or exposure to global real estate markets
- Experience in business case management across the full lifecycle, from creation through delivery and achievement of targets
- PMP certification or similar
- Experience writing business cases
- Experience in process analysis
