Job Title: Coordinator, Human Resources (Hourly Personnel Associate) Job Description This Human Resources Coordinator role (Hourly Personnel Associate) supports a large manufacturing engine plant and plays a key part in delivering high-quality HR services to both hourly and salaried employees. You will provide front-line customer service, support labor relations, manage onboarding and personnel records, and ensure accurate administration of policies and collective bargaining agreements. This position is fully onsite and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to contribute to a strong, collaborative workplace culture. Responsibilities

- Provide responsive and professional customer service to hourly and salaried employees by addressing HR-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist hourly employees, leadership, and union representatives with labor-related questions and issues, ensuring clear communication and appropriate guidance.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including creating personnel jackets and profiles and ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Apply the National and Local Collective Bargaining Agreements correctly, particularly in areas such as job postings, promotions, and payroll matters.
- Create, organize, and maintain personnel records and files, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and compliant with audit requirements.
- Input and update transactions for hourly employee records promptly and accurately within HR systems.
- Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships between union and management, supporting a constructive labor relations environment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on policy administration as it applies to hourly personnel, providing guidance and clarification to employees and leaders.
- Support manpower planning processes, including activities related to hiring, layoffs, and unemployment, in coordination with HR and operations teams.
- Handle requests and inquiries from legal and retirement divisions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Provide general HR administrative support to the HR Labor Relations team and broader HR function as needed.
- Contribute to a winning culture by supporting initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention.

Essential Skills

- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organization and planning skills, with the ability to manage documentation and multiple HR processes effectively.
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with employees, union representatives, and leadership.
- Ability to plan and organize work to meet project goals, deadlines, and daily operational requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities in a labor environment.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and accuracy in HR support.
- Comfort working with HR administration tasks such as onboarding, employee relations, and personnel record management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a manufacturing labor environment.
- Prior experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
- Experience with WF1 or similar HRIS platforms.
- Background in human resources coordination, employee relations, or HR administration.
- Experience supporting labor relations and union-management interactions.
- Familiarity with HRIS tools and processes related to hourly personnel.
- General proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite beyond Excel and Word.
- Interest in or exposure to customer service support and administrative support functions in an HR setting.
- Formal HR qualifications or certifications are to be determined and may be considered an asset.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lima, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.57 - $24.57/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
