Job Description
The Head of Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is responsible for leading and growing Visa's consulting and analytics business in the Mexico region. This role has full accountability for the strategic direction, commercial performance, client impact, talent development, and operational management of the VCA organization.
As the senior leader of VCA Mexico, this individual defines and executes the market strategy, oversees business and financial performance, drives innovation, and ensures the delivery of high-impact consulting and analytics engagements that strengthen Visa's position as a trusted strategic partner to clients.
The role partners closely with Country Management, Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Regional VCA leadership to identify growth opportunities, accelerate revenue expansion, and deliver measurable value to financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, acquirers, governments, and other strategic clients.
Reporting to the Regional VCA Leadership Team, the Head of VCA Mexico leads a multidisciplinary team of consulting, analytics, and practice leaders while representing VCA across Visa's leadership forums and key client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
· Define and execute the strategic vision, growth agenda, and operating priorities for VCA Mexico.
· Lead the development and execution of annual and multi-year business plans aligned with Visa's country and regional objectives.
· Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and client needs to inform investment priorities and future growth strategies.
· Ensure Visa Consulting & Analytics capabilities, offerings, and solutions remain differentiated, scalable, and aligned with market demands.
· Represent VCA in executive leadership discussions and contribute to broader Visa business planning and strategic initiatives.
Commercial Growth & Financial Management
· Own the overall financial performance of VCA Mexico, including revenue growth, profitability, resource utilization, and cost management.
· Drive achievement of business targets through effective pipeline management, commercial execution, and strategic account planning.
· Oversee forecasting, budgeting, investment decisions, resource allocation, and operating reviews.
· Partner with Sales and other Visa Teams to identify and capture new consulting and analytics opportunities.
· Ensure disciplined management of business performance through data-driven decision-making and accountability mechanisms.
Client Leadership & Market Engagement
· Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with key clients across financial services, merchants, fintechs, public sector organizations, and ecosystem partners.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to support growth strategy, payments innovation, portfolio optimization, customer engagement, digital transformation, and business performance.
· Lead strategic client discussions, executive workshops, industry forums, and commercial presentations.
· Elevate Visa's market positioning by promoting VCA thought leadership, industry expertise, and innovative client solutions.
Consulting & Analytics Excellence
· Ensure delivery excellence across consulting and analytics engagements, maintaining high standards of quality, client satisfaction, and measurable business impact.
· Sponsor the development of new methodologies, intellectual property, frameworks, and scalable assets that enhance VCA capabilities.
· Foster innovation by leveraging data, analytics, AI, emerging technologies, and Visa assets to address evolving client challenges.
· Promote collaboration across practices and functions to deliver integrated client solutions.
Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
· Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of consulting, analytics, and practice leaders.
· Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
· Champion leadership excellence and reinforce Visa's values and culture across the organization.
Qualifications
· 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in management consulting, financial services, payments, analytics, strategy, or related industries.
· Proven experience leading large-scale consulting, advisory, analytics, or professional services organizations.
· Demonstrated success managing P&L accountability and delivering sustained revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
· Strong strategic leadership capabilities with experience defining and executing business growth strategies.
· Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with C-level executives, senior business leaders, and external stakeholders.
· Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and driving market expansion.
· Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed, global organizations and influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
· Strong executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and measurable results.
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
· Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
