Bridge Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Darwin Service Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong automotive leader who can bring people together, improve performance and deliver an outstanding experience for every customer.

You will take ownership of the department’s daily operation while building a positive, accountable and results-focused team culture.

The Role
Reporting to the Dealer Principal and Fixed Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the daily operation of the Service Department.

- Coaching and developing service advisors, technicians and apprentices.

- Managing workshop workflow, productivity and efficiency.

- Achieving labour sales, gross profit and customer-retention targets.

- Ensuring customers receive clear, professional and timely communication.

- Taking ownership of customer concerns and resolving them effectively.

- Monitoring work in progress, outstanding repair orders and warranty claims.

- Working closely with Parts, Sales and Administration.

- Maintaining Toyota standards, dealership processes and workplace safety requirements.

- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue, reduce waste and improve the customer experience.

- Creating a workplace where employees feel supported, accountable and proud of their performance.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience managing an automotive Service Department.

- Strong leadership and people-management skills.

- A sound understanding of workshop operations and dealership financial performance.

- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

- Excellent customer-service and complaint-resolution skills.

- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience monitoring budgets, productivity, efficiency and gross profit.

- A hands-on leadership style and the willingness to support the team when required.

- Toyota experience will be highly regarded, although it is not essential.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the front and genuinely cares about their customers and team.
