About the Opportunity:

Join our client, a dynamic leader in the aviation industry, as the Assistant Director of Maintenance (ADOM). This role presents a unique opportunity to shape and lead a maintenance team within a forward-thinking aviation operator known for executing demanding missions nationwide. You will be an instrumental partner in growing a maintenance organization that prioritizes technical excellence, integrity, and safety. Your leadership will guide our operations across multiple bases, aligning them with our mission to support a diverse fleet including UH-1H, Bell 206 series, and Air Tractor aircraft.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the recruitment, training, and mentorship of technicians to build a scalable, effective team.

- Foster a culture of accountability and professionalism.

- Oversee daily maintenance activities across various airframe types to meet flight operations and mission requirements.

- Maximize aircraft availability through effective maintenance planning and coordination.

- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company standards.

- Maintain accurate, audit-ready maintenance records.

- Identify and resolve process gaps to improve operational efficiency.

- Coordinate with vendors to reduce downtime.

- Contribute to departmental budgeting and planning.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues when needed.

- Serve as a key resource for technical publications and OEM data.

Requirements:

- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.

- Extensive experience with UH-1H and/or Bell 206 series aircraft.

- Leadership experience in a similar role, such as Director of Maintenance, Assistant Director of Maintenance (ADOM), or Chief Inspector.

- Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and operational standards.

- Proficiency in maintenance tracking software.

- Ability to travel extensively during peak seasons, especially from May to August.

- Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks in varied working conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Inspection Authorization (IA).

- Experience with Air Tractor aircraft.

- Experience managing multi-base maintenance operations.

- Associate's degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance Technology.
