About the Opportunity:
Join our client's dynamic team in Orlando, FL, as a Parts/QA Inspector, where your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring both top-notch parts management and quality assurance of aircraft. Responsibilities:
- Manage the tool control system and coordinate with shop leads.
- Track and oversee the calibration and recertification of gauges and precision instruments.
- Maintain parts tracking systems and monitor expiration dates.
- Inspect aircraft and components to verify compliance with FAA regulations.
- Conduct audits to assess maintenance quality.
- Review maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and report violations.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in helicopter or corporate aviation.
- Previous auditing or compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation quality assurance.
- Ability to travel extensively from May through August.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or a related field.
- Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated platforms under varying conditions.
- Good dexterity, vision, and hearing for detailed inspections.
