Pay Rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift: Thursday–Saturday, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Training Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, on first shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, hands-on repair experience, and an interest in developing a career in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with tools, and helping minimize equipment downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates will begin with first-shift training to learn the equipment, maintenance procedures, and responsibilities of the role. Training typically lasts about one month, depending on how comfortable the candidate becomes in the position, before transitioning to the regular night-shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Inspect equipment to identify wear, potential failures, and maintenance needs.
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and production changeovers as needed.
- Use hand tools and maintenance equipment to perform repairs and routine service.
- Document completed maintenance tasks, maintain maintenance logs, and complete work orders.
- Communicate equipment issues and repair needs to supervisors and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications & Skills

- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous maintenance, mechanical repair, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and reliable attendance.
- Willingness to complete first-shift training before transitioning to the regular night shift.
