Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Advisor I to join our team for a 12-month contract !
Would you like to contribute to a variety of communications initiatives and support business growth across Canada? Join our team, which supports business development, the promotion of new products, the implementation of changes, and the creation of tools tailored to the needs of brokers and partners.
In this role, you’ll help develop marketing and communication plans, create tools and targeted campaigns, and design incentive programs for brokers. You’ll also contribute to partnership and visibility initiatives.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects involving both personal and commercial insurance, in a Canada-wide environment where collaboration, creativity, and organizational skills are essential.
What You’ll Do Here
- Support members of the communications team with their internal and external communications projects.
- Help respond to communications requests from various internal departments.
- Participate in the development of internal communications strategies and initiatives.
- Help draft, edit, and distribute various internal content (memos to employees, intranet articles, newsletters, event invitations, etc.).
- Contribute to the design and production of communication tools, including multimedia materials (posters, newsletters, and basic visual elements; recording and editing short internal videos, etc.).
- Create presentations, conduct surveys, and prepare reports for the communications team.
- Help plan and organize events.
- Support the team in implementing corporate social responsibility initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table
- A college degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role leading or participating in relevant projects in communications, marketing, project coordination, or event planning.
- Experience writing, editing, and adapting content for different audiences and channels.
- Experience creating communication tools, presentations, and basic visual content.
- Very strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Comfortable using digital and collaborative tools, such as Asana, SharePoint, or other similar platforms.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Proactive, able to work independently, organized, and creative.
- Ability to conduct analyses and synthesize information.
- Comfortable interacting at various levels of the organization.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No professional experience in Canada is required, but the candidate must be authorized to work in Canada.
