Role Overview

The Vice President, Client Success Strategy & Programs is a senior leadership role responsible for translating the Client Success Organization (CSO) strategy into an integrated portfolio of priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, this leader brings an enterprise-wide perspective across Professional Services, Renewals, Client Success, and Cloud Operations to strengthen alignment, eliminate duplication, improve execution, and ensure the organization is focused on the opportunities that create the greatest value for clients and the business.

The VP serves as a strategic advisor to the Chief Client Officer and CSO executive team, providing objective analysis, clear recommendations, and disciplined program leadership. The role leads business operations and program management capabilities, establishing the governance, insights, and operating rhythms required to move complex, cross-functional priorities from strategy through execution and measurable outcomes. This leader builds and leads a high-performing team of business operations, project, and program management professionals.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy & Enterprise Planning

- Partner with the Chief Client Officer and CSO leadership team to shape and evolve the client success strategy in line with enterprise priorities.
- Translate strategy into annual plans, investment priorities, execution roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Align goals across Professional Services, Renewals, Client Success, and Cloud Operations, surfacing key dependencies, trade-offs, and risks.
- Bring an objective, enterprise-wide lens to planning and executive decision-making.
- Guide the organizational, workforce, and capability planning needed to deliver the Client Success strategy.

Executive Partnership & Organizational Alignment

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Client Officer and CSO leaders, bringing strategic perspective, sound judgment, and influence.
- Translate complex information into clear executive narratives, recommendations, and decisions.
- Connect teams across CSO and partner functions to clarify ownership and drive coordinated execution.
- Keep client value and experience at the center of operating and investment decisions.
- Represent Client Success priorities in enterprise forums and build alignment with key stakeholders.

Strategic Programs & Transformation

- Lead high-impact, cross-functional CSO programs from business case development through execution, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives have clear scope, sponsorship, milestones, resources, risks, and success measures.
- Provide portfolio visibility that enables timely decisions, issue resolution, and resource alignment.
- Lead Client Success planning and execution for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including business readiness and outcome tracking.

Business Management & Performance

- Establish an integrated KPI framework that links enterprise goals, functional measures, and accountability.
- Lead Client Success performance reporting for the CSO Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, and Board.
- Use data and insights to identify performance trends, emerging risks, and efficiency opportunities.
- Track delivery against strategic, financial, efficiency, and client outcomes.

Experience & Qualifications

- 15+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, or program leadership within a complex technology organization.
- Executive leadership experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing in a global, matrixed organization.
- Proven success translating enterprise strategy into operating plans and measurable results.
- Strong financial acumen with experience supporting planning, investment decisions, and business performance.
- Strong analytical and program management capabilities, translating complex data into executive insights and disciplined execution.
- Experience supporting client-facing functions such as Client Success, Professional Services, Renewals, or Revenue Operations is preferred.
- M&A, divestiture, or large-scale integration and separation experience is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset.
