Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in Whitmore Lake, MI. This role involves supporting clients with their daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety in a respectful and caring environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring

- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

- Report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals or supervisors

- Adhere to company policies and client confidentiality standards

Requirements

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Valid certification or training in personal support or caregiving is an asset

- Must be able to pass background checks

- Reliable transportation to Whitmore Lake, MI job site
