Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide quality care for clients in White Lake, MI. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities to improve their quality of life in a home setting.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely

- Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs and preferences

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment

- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to medical staff or family members

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure high standards of care

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related field is an advantage but not required

- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

- Must pass background checks and have a valid drivers license if required for travel
