Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer – Festus, MO

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a cement manufacturing facility in Festus, MO. This position focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement preventive and predictive electrical maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.

- Provide technical direction to electrical and instrumentation personnel and contractors.

- Troubleshoot electrical equipment, motors, switchgear, instrumentation, and control systems.

- Support electrical maintenance activities throughout the plant and quarry.

- Coordinate electrical improvements, equipment installations, and capital projects.

- Oversee instrumentation calibration, testing, and equipment performance.

- Support plant personnel with electrical troubleshooting, training, and emergency repairs.

- Ensure compliance with MSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.

- Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering or related electrical experience.

- Strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.

- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Cement manufacturing experience preferred.
