Plant Project Engineer – Greencastle, IN
We are seeking an experienced Plant Project Engineer for a cement manufacturing facility in Greencastle, IN. This position will manage capital and plant improvement projects from development through installation and commissioning.
What You'll Do
- Develop project budgets, costs, schedules and scopes
- Manage engineering projects through design, specification, purchasing, installation and commissioning
- Coordinate contractors, vendors and plant departments
- Support mechanical and electrical plant improvement projects
- Assist with electrical power and control system projects
- Track project schedules, costs and progress
- Support construction activities and project execution within an operating manufacturing facility
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical project engineering experience
Cement, aggregates, mining or related heavy industrial experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing capital projects from concept through completion
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
- Ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, contractors and vendors
- Ability to travel occasionally to other facilities
