University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide essential support and care to our clients in Romulus, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility, including transferring and walking.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or needs to supervisory staff.
- Follow care plans and maintain client confidentiality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy and patience.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
- Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
