Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Aide to join our team in Milan, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

- Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to the supervisory team.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.

- Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is a plus.

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the position.

- Clear background check and any state-required certifications.

- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed.
