Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in Scio Township, MI. This role is integral to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and fostering a safe, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.

- Help with meal preparation and feeding.

- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status.

- Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as necessary.

- Document care provided accurately and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare support role is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to perform physical tasks related to client care.

- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-minded.

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation are a plus.

- Must pass background checks as required.
