Pre- Dispatcher

POSITION PROFILE

To provide effective control of goods by efficiently creating and organizing loads for delivery following the

accurate picking and verification of orders, while ensuring delivery costs are maintained at a minimal.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Distribution Responsibilities

· Create loads for delivery following the picking and verification of orders.

· Assist in overseeing the processing of orders and the loading of delivery vehicles as required.

· Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and management of the delivery schedule and roster of

delivery personnel.

· Review, route, and prepare deliveries for dispatch in the most effective manner.

· Track deliveries from order inception and loading through exception management.

· Ensure all deliveries are organized to be expeditiously dispatched to customers in the most effective

and efficient manner while keeping delivery overheads at a minimum.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and facilitate reliable and on-time delivery of

products.

· Ensure that all orders are prepared for delivery to customers in a timely fashion.

· Check-out all trucks with accurate BOL (Bill Of Lading), by checking counts and tags turned in along

with the PICK TICKET.

· Keep all sales orders and delivery sheets filed accordingly and effectively.

· Serve as a point of contact and resource personnel for all employees employed in the Warehouse.

· Track and report any problems, issues, and losses to the respective authorities.

· Under supervision, place damaged or expired items in the secured quarantined area.

· Assist with the documentation for products of specified suppliers to satisfy the regulatory process for

destruction.

· Assist with the preparation for the quarterly stock counts.

· Maintain the office clean and organized at all times.

· Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS)

· A minimum five (5) CXCs including Math & English/ Diploma in Logistics, Inventory, Business

Administration or related field.

· At least two (2) years working experience in Logistics or Warehouse Environment

· Strong IT systems knowledge

· Experience in delivering results in a team environment
