Job Title: Corporate Controller

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire

Location: South Florida (Corporate Office)

Industry: Ultra-Luxury Travel & Hospitality

Placement Agency: PrideStaff (recruiting on behalf of our client)

Position Overview

PrideStaff has been retained by a globally renowned brand in the ultra-luxury travel industry to identify a forward-thinking, tech-driven, and ambitious Corporate Controller to lead corporate accounting, statutory compliance, and international financial operations.

Operating a world-class fleet delivering boutique, high-touch guest experiences across the globe, our client represents the pinnacle of luxury hospitality. This role is a prime opportunity for an up-and-coming financial leader—holding an active CPA or MBA—who pairs rigorous technical accounting fundamentals with an appetite for modern ERP architecture, process automation, and operational efficiency.

Directly supporting executive leadership, you will take ownership of multi-entity expense reconciliations, statutory filings, corporate registrations, audit validation, treasury forecasting, and payroll administration across global entities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance, Governance & Multi-Jurisdictional Audits

Audit Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison for statutory and external auditors, validating schedules, building workpapers, and ensuring full compliance across multi-entity international audits.

Statutory & Legal Filings: Direct regulatory, corporate, and tax filings across domestic, state, and international jurisdictions.

Corporate Registrations: Supervise ongoing corporate entity governance, international registrations, business licenses, and statutory renewals.

Internal Controls: Establish, document, and maintain robust GAAP-compliant internal controls and SOPs to safeguard corporate assets.

2. Expense Reconciliation & Financial Operations

Expense Reconciliation: Modernize and oversee end-to-end expense management, ensuring cost-center allocation, variance reporting, and streamlined approvals.

Close Process: Direct timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, delivering GAAP-compliant balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.

Payroll Administration: Supervise corporate payroll operations, including benefits deductions, cross-border allocations, and tax compliance.

3. Cash Forecasting & Treasury Management

Cash Flow Modeling: Design and maintain rolling cash forecast models to optimize liquidity, monitor operational burn rates, and guide working capital allocations.

Treasury & FX Management: Supervise banking relationships, cash disbursements, liquidity pools, and foreign currency exposures.

Executive Advisory: Present clear, high-level financial analyses and variance insights directly to C-level stakeholders to steer strategic investments.

4. Technology & Process Modernization

System Optimization: Serve as the functional champion for financial systems, evaluating and implementing modern accounting tools, cloud ERP enhancements, and automation workflows to eliminate manual touchpoints.

Data Integrity: Continuously refine reporting pipelines to accelerate reporting speed and ensure cross-functional data precision.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience; proven track record as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or high-performing Controller ready for their next step.

Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; active CPA license or MBA required.

Audit & Compliance Acumen: Demonstrated background managing audit preparations, partnering with external audit teams, and handling complex statutory compliance.

Technology Champion: Strong affinity for modern cloud accounting software, advanced ERP workflows, reporting tools, and process automation.

International Scope: Exposure to international accounting, multi-currency environments, or cross-border consolidation is a strong plus.

Core Skills: Advanced Excel modeling, high ethical rigor, meticulous attention to detail, and executive-level communication skills.
