Workers' Compensation Attorney for an Employment Law firm in Orange County, CA.
Direct Hire opportunity. Paying $125k-220k/yr , depending on experience. Primarily remote environment, with as-needed travel for meetings, depositions and appearances. Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (firm can offer flexibility).
Responsibilities:
Oversee workers’ compensation matters throughout the entire claims process, including discovery, case preparation, and litigation. Collaborate with insurance carriers, employers, and claims administrators to manage cases and resolve disputes. Leverage modern legal technology and AI-powered tools to support case management and improve efficiency. Conduct and defend depositions as part of case development and litigation strategy. Represent clients in workers’ compensation proceedings, including hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
Skills & Qualifications: 3-5+ years of experience handling workers’ compensation matters in California. Active membership with the California State Bar and a record in good standing. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Strong legal research, critical thinking, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal communication and legal writing abilities. Demonstrated ability to manage cases efficiently, anticipate challenges, and take initiative throughout the legal process.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $125,000.00 - $220,000.00
