ASKA is developing a hybrid-electric drive-and-fly vehicle. The Lead Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer owns aircraft-level functional architecture and cross-system interfaces, working in the engineering organization under CTO technical leadership.
The role defines drive, flight and conversion modes and manages transitions and fault behaviors; controls interfaces across propulsion, batteries, avionics and other systems; resolves competing needs; leads integration and troubleshoots failures; maintains traceability and configuration records; and coordinates technical readiness and safety constraints with specialists.
Full-time, on-site or hybrid at Eagle Field Airport, Firebaugh, CA; Bay Area/Palo Alto candidates preferred and relocation candidates welcome. Fully remote is not offered; some remote analysis/design/software work may be possible with client approval. Hands-on development and integration work with coordinated Eagle Field visits is required.
