Picasso Restaurant Group is seeking a dependable, experienced Grill Cook to join our team at the Pavilion River Cafe, located inside Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor.
We are hiring for two shifts within our Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM operating hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing fresh, quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items to order.
- Operate grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation, restocking, and kitchen closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications
- Previous grill or line cook experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and kitchen safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical kitchen duties.
