Ready to leave rotating shifts and weekend schedules behind? Southern Health Partners (SHP) is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the St. Croix County Jail in Wisconsin.

🩺 What You'll Do
You'll provide compassionate, professional patient care while helping ensure the healthcare needs of the facility's patient population are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
- Provide routine nursing care, sick call, and chronic care services.
- Recognize changes in patient conditions and communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs.
- Educate patients and support their ongoing healthcare needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and correctional staff to support quality patient care.
- Follow established clinical guidelines, SHP policies, and applicable standards of practice.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment.
Qualifications
📋 What We're Looking For
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
